Main research items are following. 1.Studies on measures to ensure the safe and sustainable use of outer space 2.Space hazard prediction with assessment of forecast tools 3.Solar radio wave monitoring for the operation of space weather forecast  Simulation of Tropical cyclone Megi (2010) by Numerical forecast model (JMA-NHM) Upper left: Precipitation estimated from satellite, Upper right: Track of Megi Lower left: Simulated precipitation, Lower right: Intensity of Megi (central pressure) Density stratification tends to be strengthened in more than 80% of the entire ocean, and on average, it corresponds to a maximum of 6.1% strengthening from the 1960s to the present. It can cause abnormally high sea surface temperature.
